I love the friendly lounge atmosphere there. Great service by the staff. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. I wish they have more entree choices.
My favorite grocery store It is small but has the most high class fresh seafood and meat. The vegetables are fresh and so is the delicious fruit. They have a hot deli and cold with fresh made salads . The hot deli is my favorite because a large variety of meats potato and vegetables not to be overlooked the bakery and beautiful flowers.
Clean store even the ladies room. Other than the grocery, there is flower shop inside, bakery, meat shop. Located along Alton and Jeffrey road.
ALL THE GOOD STUFF ! My wife and I nipped over here this afternoon to pick up a few essentials. These guys sell a lot of really good stuff that we have to have that's also really hard to find...even at Whole Foods Market. FIRST UP ! I grabbed a tub of Treasure Cave Crumbled Gorgonzola....it's the best on the market ! Did you know that Trader Joe's don't sell crumbled gorgonzola ? I grabbed a Cool Blue Gatorade...again not sold at Whole Foods Market. Then I picked out a large Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice.....good price and great taste. I added a one gal Crystal Geyser Natural Alpine Spring Water, a small 6 pack of the same and 3 x La Colombe Coffee Double Draft Lattes...love it ! Meanwhile my wife picked out some fruit and veggies...bananas, white corn cobs, green beans, broccoli crowns, brown onions, limes, russet potatoes and a pack of Gelson's Golden Raisins...hard to find elsewhere. Then I added a pack of Kelley's Kookies Cashew Toffee Shortbread...so delicious. ICE CREAM ! We are very particular about our ice creams...you get what you pay for most of the time. We selected 1 x So Delicious Dairy Free Mocha Almond Fudge bars, 1 x Haagen-Dazs mini chocolate dark chocolate ice cream bars, 1 x Skinny Cow Not Fudging Around Chocolate Fudge ( cones ) and 1 x Haagen-Dazs butter cookie cone. LOVELY SERVICE AT THE CHECKOUT ! NOTE - Of course with 20 million views of my Yelp reviews and pics world wide in 2023 I can tell you what is great !
Gelson's has better quality meats than WholeFoods and Lazy Acres. If you like good quality grass fed beef, Gelson's is the best. I highly recommend them. I'm a fan.

Gelsons is always a great market with a great selection of great food and friendly service. Their fish is always delicious and fresh. They also have good meats?breads, and salads. I also enjoy their snacks, such as nuts, deviled eggs, and Inari sushi. The employees are very friendly and helpful to customers, which is always a plus. The decor inside is nice and modern, which I like too. The con is that their prices are higher than the average market. Overall, Gelsons is a great market to get fresh and delicious seafood, meat, bread, snacks, and salad. I recommend shopping here.
... if you want the best poke bowl - make it yourself at their open bar. Holy cow it's awesome. Everything from spicy, Hawaiian tuna, (imitation) crab, sea weed, shrimp, edamame, rice (white or brown), - all of it. And it's fresher than the retail stores - yea I said it.
Wow! Loved this location, the friendly staff The Wine Bar The Deli The Salad Bar The Poke Bar! And best of all the amazing Rod, florist manager is EXTRAORDINARY! ***** Five Stars For sure! Rod does amazing arrangements & more. Completely detail oriented, and very creative! Gelson's he is a Gem!
